2nd Saturday Official IDPA Club Match

Thunder Tactical Shooters host an Official Club Match on the 2nd Saturday of each month at Thunder Gun Range. Sign-in begins at 8:00am and we begin shooting at 9:00am. Monthly match cost is $18.00 ($10 range fee per gun & $8 match fee), and everyone is invited to come out and compete. These matches normally conclude between noon & 1:00pm.

Wednesday Night "Fun/Practice" Match

We shoot a Wednesday Night "Fun/Practice" Match every week! Come join us for the only weekly outdoor evening event in the Houston area. Sign-in starts around 5:45pm and hammer down is at 6:30pm. Please try to be on time so we can finish the match before it gets too late! The cost of participation is $15.00 ($10 range fee per gun & $5 match fee).  We shoot five to six (6) stages/scenarios, which typically ends at 8:30pm.

5th Saturday Fun/Practice Match

We also host a Fun/Practice Match anytime there is a 5th Saturday during the month.  Sign-in begins at 8:30am and with hammer down at 9:00am. This is a non-sanctioned practice match or special event. Cost is $18.00 ($10 range fee per gun & $8 match fee), and everyone is invited to come out and participate.  

Classifier Match

Shooters can request TTS to put on an IDPA Classifier Match as needed.  We will make every attempt to coordinate more of these.  Classifiers can be easily scheduled for non-match Saturday or Sunday mornings as long as we have sufficient participation to schedule the event.  Contact a club officer to schedule a classifier for your group. 

Defensive Multi Gun Match

TTS also hosts a Defensive Multi Gun (DMG) match at Thunder Gun Range on the fourth (4th) Saturday of each month.  All Saturday matches start at 9am.  Sign ups begin at 8:00am.  Come out an join us for some exciting carbine/multi-gun shooting action.  The cost for participation in the carbine match is $18.  ($10 range fee 1st gun and $8 match fee).  There will be a $5 per gun additional cost when more than 1 gun is required.
